DAC School Forensic Video/Audio Training

Don't miss your chance to attend the Winter 2017 session of the DAC School Forensic Video/Audio Training, which will be held on 30 January - 3 February 2017 at the Rocky Mountain Information Network training facilities in Phoenix, AZ.

Based on the latest VideoFOCUS Pro and CARDINAL MiniLab software by Salient Sciences, this intensive training teaches how to clarify evidentiary video and audio recordings in a unified way. Techniques for importing and analyzing the material, viewing the video frame by frame, clarifying the video and images, reducing noises and effects in the audio track(s), maximizing voice intelligibility, and exporting the finished product, are taught through a combination of lecture, careful observation and analysis, critical listening, and hands-on practical exercises with state-of-the-art tools and real-world training materials. On the final day of the class, each student will be provided with a certificate for the attended training.

Two Training Options:
  • Full Forensic Video/Audio Training (all 5 days): USD$900.00, or;
  • Video Training and Audio Introduction (first 3 days only): USD$600.00.
Tuition pricing does not include attendee transportation, lodging, or meals.

Due to the nature of the training location, attendance for this particular event is restricted to law-enforcement and governmental personnel from the USA and Canada ONLY.

Registration is limited to 12-24 persons, due to the equipment limitation of 12 workstations with up to 2 people at each. Thumb drives and DVDs for installing 30-day trial software and training files on attendees' own laptop computers will also be made available. Attendees bringing their own laptops should have an AC adaptor and their own good-quality headphones for private listening
. Laptop must be PC or Mac with an available Windows 7 or 10, 64-bit OS, and meeting the following minimum requirements: 4GB of RAM, 15” widescreen display, one functioning USB port, and a functioning headphone jack.
